You might think the most valuable thing you have is your house or car.
But thats not even close. The most valuable thing you have isn’t work any money but its more valuable then all the wealth you will ever obtain.
The Importance of your world view system.
A major test to any world view is see if it is logically consistent. Is it internally consistent. What does it say about truth and knowledge. What tools and rules does it have to weigh various ideas, situations and arguments. Then you have to be able to take those tools, rules and views and apply it to itself and see if it stands up. Evolutionary theory in particular materialistic deterministic evolutionary theory does not stand up to its own logic. If we are evolved from rocks and chemicals then how can we trust our brains. If we have no free will how can we trust our own thoughts. And if evolution says that the winners are those that have faulty perceptions then we should turn our backs on that worldview. We should seek out worldviews that are aligned with truth, the persuit of knowledge, and give us the best chance for both. t
